PREMIER LEAGUE flop Radamel Falcao is reportedly set for a stunning return to Atletico Madrid.
L’Equipe claims the Monaco striker, 33, could become Diego Simeone’s latest signing after spending the last six years away from the Spanish capital.

Falcao established himself as the world’s best striker by scoring 70 times in 91 appearances for Atletico between 2011 and 2013, winning the Copa del Rey, Europa League and Super Cup in the process.
Before that, he had scored 72 goals in 87 matches during two years at Porto to win the Primeira Liga, the Portuguese Cup, the Portuguese Super Cup and Europa League
His magnificent form soon secured a £55million move to Monaco, where he spent just one season before joining Manchester United on loan after injury setbacks.
Falcao managed just four goals in 29 appearances at Old Trafford, but still managed to land a loan to then-Premier League champions Chelsea the year after.
TOTALLY RAD DUDE
His time at Stamford Bridge was even less productive, yielding just one goal in 12 matches.
But Falcao’s return to Monaco was nothing less than glorious, with 30 goals in 43 games helping to secure a famous Ligue 1 title win in 2017.
He netted 24 times the season after, and this term managed 15 despite Monaco’s successful relegation battle.
Falcao has one year left on his contract with the French giants.
But he could instead be lured to the Wanda Metropolitano, with Simeone in desperate need of some new forwards.
Antoine Griezmann looks destined to join Barcelona after announcing his intention to quit.

There are also doubts over Alvaro Morata’s future, with Atletico required to pay an extra £15m to keep the flop on loan for one more season.
The report adds that Valencia are also interested in Falcao, and it appears the Colombia international – who has 33 goals in 83 games for his country – could be set for one final hurrah at the top level.
