‘Desperate’ Jose Mourinho vows to come back ‘stronger than ever’ when he returns to management

JOSE MOURINHO has revealed he is "desperate" to return to football but says he can’t be too emotional about picking a club after he was linked to Juventus.

The 56-year-old has been without a job since being sacked by the Red Devils in December and has already rejected three approaches from clubs.

However, the Special One, who is in Monaco for the Grand Prix this weekend, also vowed to come back "stronger than ever" when he returns to management.

He told Sky Sports: "The only thing I know is I cannot be emotional. I have to be rational. I have not to choose just because I want to work and I am desperate to work.

"I have to choose because I think it is the right project and motivation for me.

"I want to become stronger than ever and I am studying a lot and working a lot with my new staff to be a great team and to be ready to do it again big.

"So I have to think, rethink, analyse and make the right decision."

Mourinho was most recently linked with the vacant managerial job at Juventus following the departure of Massimiliano Allegri.

The former Chelsea boss was even endorsed for the post by Cristiano Ronaldo – despite their frosty past at Real Madrid.

Despite being deemed too expensive for the Serie A giants, Mourinho showed he was on the hunt after he was pictured going for a beard trim at a posh barber in Chelsea.

The Portuguese looked a little scruffy as he strolled into the fancy Kings Road shop on Saturday morning before he emerged looking ten years younger.

Yet unlike his razor, Mourinho would not be moved when asked to choose a winner in next weekend's Champions League final between Liverpool and Spurs.

He added: "I will be very happy for one of my colleagues and be very sad for one of them. I like them both. I think they both deserve something really big in their career.

"I will love it if Jurgen or Mauricio will win it but I will be very, very sorry to think that one of them is going to lose."
