Junior Sa’u has made two Salford appearances in the last three months

Wakefield and Salford have completed a swap deal with forward Pauli Pauli joining the Red Devils and centre Junior Sa’u going to Belle Vue, both on a month’s loan.

Sa’u, 32, a former Samoa and New Zealand international, has made only two appearances in the last three months for Salford while Pauli has been on the bench for the Yorkshire side’s last five matches.

Trinity have made a move for Sa’u to offset the absence through injury of threequarters Joe Arundel, Bill Tupou and Tom Johnstone and he is likely to make his debut in Saturday’s game at London Broncos.
