Shields has now moved to 9-0 after an impressive display against Hammer in what was touted as the "biggest fight in women's boxing history".

"T-Rex" was quick, aggressive and defended well as the German fighter was gradually drifting into survival mode throughout the fight.

And as a result, two judges scored the bout 98-91 in her favour while the third one had it 98-92.

Shields couldn't contain her joy after the glorious victory.

She said: "I am the greatest woman of all time, give me that. You all told me I couldn't do it.

"Women's boxing is on fire. I cannot wait to see the next super fight, whoever is in between.

"Right now, I'm the undisputed champion of the world."
