MANCHESTER UNITED star Marcus Rashford watched Portsmouth beat Shrewsbury 2-0 on Sunday after he had pulled out of the England squad with an injury.
The striker, 21, turned up at New Meadow to cheer Shrews defender Ro-Shaun Williams – his former team-mate from the Red Devils academy.

Rashford had to leave the England camp as his ankle problem, picked up in the goalless draw with Liverpool last month, appeared to have worsened.
The United ace played through the pain barrier to finish the match because Red Devils gaffer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was forced to use all his subs in the first half.
But it turns out Rashford has failed to heal his injury and he was not fully fit to face Czech Republic in the opening game of the Euro 2020 qualifying – which England won 5-0.
And even with the Premier League on hold due to the international break, the football-hungry striker wasted no time and attended a League One clash between Portsmouth and Shrewsbury.
Rashford showed up at New Meadow to support Manchester-born Williams, 20, who he played with in United's youth teams.
The centre-back left the Red Devils in January this year in search of first-team football.
But Rashford failed to be Williams' lucky charm as Shrewsbury lost 2-0 at home to Portsmouth.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are set to trigger a 12-month contract extension for Rashford as they are growing frustrated that talks over a new deal are dragging on.
United offered their star a five-year contract worth around £180,000 a week.
The Old Trafford outfit want to make sure that Real Madrid, who have shown an interest in the England star, will not sway the striker's mind and lure him into the Bernabeu.
