Manchester United boss Solskjaer will pull off a minor miracle by finishing third and Arsenal will pip bitter rivals Spurs to a Champions League place

THERE are to be plenty of reasons for celebrations in Manchester and not just with Manchester City winning the league.

City’s superior squad with both them and Liverpool still in the Champions League is going to be telling in the run-in.

In fact, the only place I can see them dropping any points is at Old Trafford in the derby.

Talking of which Manchester United not so long ago had only an outside chance of making the top four.

They stood 11 points adrift of those exulted Champions League places when Ole Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho.

But their incredible run, not withstanding the defeat at Arsenal, has put them right back in the mix with players coming back from injury.

OLE AT THE WHEEL

I can see them not only getting a place in the top four but getting into third place.

That's not normally a reason for celebrations at United, after all they were second last year.

But with Ole at the wheel there is a real feeling he is steering them back to the top.

That feel-good factor coupled with some excellent football of late has built a huge momentum behind the Red Devils.

That position is currently held by Tottenham but the collapse of their title challenge has been alarming with just four points taken from their last 15.

They have slid not only away from the top two but heading out of the top four.
