PATRICE EVRA has issued a grovelling apology after appearing to call Paris Saint-Germain "f*****s" in an astonishing rant.
The Manchester United legend was branded "homophobic" by the French club for comments made while he filmed himself in the back of a taxi in Paris replying to Snapchat users.

United are now distancing themselves from the Frenchman.
In a video he uploaded to social media, Evra, 37, said: "I am here to clarify a massive misunderstanding.
"I made a video as a joke, as a friend, and because I used the word [f****t], they [French media] translated as I am against the gay people.
"I'm not homophobic because you know who I am, I'm Mr I Love This Game, I love everyone.
"If I offend or hurt anyone, I really apologise but you know it was not my intention.
"They're just trying to put me down.
"I understand about equality. You have to be free in whatever you do in life. I would never judge anyone. My mum educated me and raised me that way. Only God can judge me.
"We should be together, we need to make the world a better place.

League 1 champions PSG were already annoyed with Evra after his wild celebrations in the Parc de Princes following United's 3-1 win in the Champions League earlier this month.
His former team-mate Jerome Rothen, who spent six years at PSG, accused him of a lack of respect after his antics at the stadium.
But Evra, who today posted a video of himself singing in the shower, hit back at Rothen in a clip and threatened to "slap you in the face".
