LEROY SANE went to the top of the class when Manchester City destroyed his old club Schalke 7-0.
And the Germany winger looks like he is still celebrating as if was the last day of school – in a £3,850 coat scrawled with multi-coloured writing and doodles.
2 Leroy Sane wore this interesting £3,850 coat while reporting for Germany duty
Sane's baggy white sheepskin jacket from Spanish designer Balenciaga failed to scare off autograph hunters as he turned up for international duty.
But the 23-year-old looked more akin to a high-school reveller than the mature main man he was last week when scoring once and setting up three other goals to seal Schalke's 10-2 aggregate thumping at the Etihad.
Maybe the Bundesliga club had felt there was no need to do their homework on Sane as he spent two years with them before moving to City for £37million in 2016.
And Sane's coat was no more oddball than the tweet Schalke themselves sent out while Sane was giving them a lesson in last week's Champions League last-16 second leg.
The Germans posted: "I'd like to see Theresa May try and defend against @LeroySane19".
But it might be stretching a point to say Sane's adolesecent adornment explainw why his MUM has reportedly been holding up talks over his new City contract.
Regina Weber, an Olympic bronze medallist gymnast for West Germany in 1984, is thought to be making Etihad chiefs jump through hoops as she negotiates hard.

Leroy's father, ex-Senegal striker Souleymane Sane, has usually acted as his agent, along with intermediaries.
But as Sane junior seems to have won over Etihad boss Pep Guardiola, a new deal extending his contract beyond 2021 still seems inevitable.
For now, though, Sane is with the Germany squad for Wednesday's home friendly with Serbia and their Euro 2020 qualifier in Holland on Sunday.
And after Joachim Low left him out of his World Cup squad last summer – before easing out several senior internationals this season – Sane is hoping to puffer up his reputation by adding to his 17 caps.
