ARSENAL stopper Bernd Leno has warned Chelsea and Manchester United not to slip up if they want Champions League football.

The Gunners are currently fifth in the table, just one point outside the top four, after edging past Huddersfield on Saturday.

United are in pole position following their incredible change in fortunes under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, while the struggling Blues lost 6-0 to Manchester City yesterday.

Leno, 26, said:  “We wait for the other teams and if they make mistakes. We do our work to win every game and on Saturday we did the job.

“In two weeks, we have another league game and we want to work hard. Our last away win [in the league] was at Bournemouth in November. It was important for us to win and also to win away.

“In the first half we played very well and had good control. We lost the control a bit but we defended very strong, we worked as a team.

“Everybody worked very hard and we were unlucky to concede the goal but overall it was a deserved win.”

Arsenal boss Unai Emery was delighted with his side's performance against the Terriers, which saw Alex Iwobi star.

He said: "Good victory and good work, today I think our work was very good.

"We didn't win away from home in a long time and we are closer to the top four.
