HENRIKH MKHITARYAN returned to training to give Arsenal a huge boost ahead of Friday's clash against Manchester United.
The Armenian has been out of action since December 19 after he fractured a metatarsal in his right foot during the Carabao Cup defeat to Spurs.

But the 30-year-old appeared to be training on his own at London Colney on Thursday.
Mkhitaryan is closing in on his return to the first-team, but is not expected to feature against his former club.
Ainsley-Maitland Niles could start the match after Hector Bellerin was ruled out for the rest of the season.
The Spanish defender showed off his wheelchair as he began his recovery from the anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Mesut Ozil wrapped up warm as he trained on Thursday after his return to the squad for last week's win over Chelsea.
The German, who has fallen out of favour under the management of Emery, could start the FA Cup clash against United.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette look set to continue their partnership up-front for the Gunners.
Lacazette broke the deadlock against the Blues to take his goal tally to 10 this season.

Danny Welbeck was the hero when the Gunners last faced United in the FA Cup, but he will not be available at the Emirates.
He has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury and Rob Holding will continue his stint on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Emery is expected to stick with his midfield trio of Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi.
Speaking about Solskjaer's squad, Emery said: "It's a different team. It's the same players but they're playing with a big performance now.
"I was watching their last matches and each player has a lot of confidence, with big performances, and now they are very dangerous."
