MANCHESTER UNITED have missed out on signing Porto defender Eder Militao as Real Madrid look set to complete a deal.
According to Selecao SporTV, the 21-year-old will move to the Bernabeu for the start of next season for £44million.

Militao's release clause was set to rise to £66million on July 1 but Real appear to have secured a cut-price deal at the right time.
The Brazil international has made 24 outings this season for the Portuguese giants and will be key to their hopes of retaining their Primeira Liga title and progressing in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, the news is a blow to United's hopes of adding to a back-line which has looked uncertain at times this season.
No team in the Premier League's top 11 has conceded more goals than the 32 shipped by the Old Trafford club.
