Harry Kane out until March after suffering ankle ligament injury in major blow for Spurs

SPURS were rocked by the news that Harry Kane will be out for at least six weeks with ankle ligament damage.

The England forward will not return to training until early March, the club confirmed on their Twitter feed.

SunSport's exclusive images earlier today showed Kane limping down a London street on crutches and in a protective boot.

Spurs' star striker limped off the pitch at full-time of Sunday's 1-0 loss to Manchester United after being caught in the ankle by Phil Jones.

He had treatment on the field but looked to be in significant pain as he walked off.

And in snaps worrying to Tottenham, England forward Kane can be seen gingerly walking down Harley Street with the help of crutches and a protective boot on his left foot at 10.30am this morning.

Spurs announced the news that all fans were fearing on their Twitter feed at 5pm.
