Emery was plunged into a defensive crisis and will go to Southampton next week WITHOUT Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis after they picked up their fifth yellow cards of the season.
And Mustafi also injured his hamstring to give Emery more concerns after Rob Holding was crocked in midweek.
On the pitch they struggled to find a way past a resilient Huddersfield team – and were wasteful when they found sight of goal.
But they were fuming with linesman Simon Beck for chalking off Alexandre Lacazette’s goal just before half-time.

Terriers centre-back Mathias Jorgensen teed up the strike with a backpass – but Beck raised his flag as Lacazette was offside earlier in the move.
The Gunners weren’t pleased with ref Paul Tierney either after Matteo Guendouzi and Mustafi were booked for diving as they attempted to win penalties.
Granit Xhaka was also cautioned for a dive on the counter-attack.
Tempers spilled over at half-time when Mustafi rowed with Huddersfield coach Andrew Hughes – and the pair were separated as they bickered.
