A win at the Groupama Stadium will seal City's progression to the last 16 as Group F winners.
But the Premier League champions will have to do it without Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne who are all sidelined.
And to make matters worse, striker Gabriel Jesus who came on as a late sub in Saturday’s thumping of West Ham has not travelled to France due to a muscle injury.
However, the Brazilian’s injury is not serious and he could be back for this weekend’s game at home to Bournemouth.

Guardiola said: “Gabriel had had a muscular problem in training but isn't ready.
“Bernardo is in the last step before being fit – Gundogan had a problem in his feet.
"I prefer to have all the squad to choose (from) but it is what it is.
“We have to adapt with the guys that are here and we will try to do a good job and the others who aren't here will do their best to recover."

But it could be a chance for Phil Foden to get some valuable game time under his belt.
And after seven substitute appearances in the league and just three minutes of European action, the 18-year-old could be handed a start.
Guardiola added: “When Phil appeared in the last pre-season (game), I was so impressed and he's now stronger and able to play with us – without a doubt.
"He plays so aggressively with the ball and without, he is so intense.
“Every time he plays, he is so good.
"That's why he is ready. He is part of the squad."
