JORDAN HENDERSON was sent off but Liverpool did enough to see off Watford 3-0 at Vicarage Road.
Henderson picked up two yellow cards in the second half for two fouls and was given his marching orders by Jon Moss with eight minutes remaining.

The Reds skipper's first caution came on the hour mark when he caught Isaac Success and then clipped Etienne Capoue to see red.
He will now miss the Merseyside derby at Anfield next Sunday.
But his Liverpool team maintained their unbeaten start to the Premier League season thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander Arnold and Roberto Firmino to keep within sight of leaders Manchester City.
Javi Gracia’s side had matched the visitors for an hour and had a massive penalty shout turned down just after the break.

Will Hughes just pipped Andy Robertson to the ball and went down under the Scot’s challenge – but Moss waved play on.
Liverpool took full advantage and Salah scored with a slick move that invovled all of Klopp’s lightning quick forwards.
Firmino played it through to Sadio Mane, whose cutback was slammed home between Ben Foster’s legs.
Salah’s ‘butterfly’ celebration looked similar to old foe Sergio Ramos’, just a day after the Spaniard was accused of failing a drug test.

Alexander-Arnold added the second with a superb free-kick that flew into the top corner, giving Watford keeper Foster no chance.
And Firmino added the third in the 89th minute after Robertson raced down the left, Mane's shot was saved and the Brazilian nodded in.
Liverpool were well in control and leading 2-0 when Henderson was shown his second yellow by Moss.
But it did not stop plenty of Liverpool fans venting their frustration at their skipper.

Declan Corcoran tweeted: "Jordan Henderson with the most brain dead red card you have ever seen in your life…. That was something you'd expect to see Alberto Moreno do."
Another user, @fabreyas, added: "Jordan Henderson can bugger off. Not fit to play for #LFC, not even close to worthy of being captain with an attitude like that."
Meanwhile, Reds fan Marc said: "Wish Jordan Henderson would hand in a transfer request. No-one would take him though."
