There were just five games in the NBA on Sunday and with LeBron James setting new records with his 51 points against the Miami Heat, it’s perhaps not surprising he has three entries in today’s top 10 plays of the night.

Sunday's results

  • Memphis Grizzlies 100-87 Minnesota Timberwolves
  • LA Lakers 113-97 Miami Heat
  • NY Knicks 117-131 Orlando Magic
  • Portland Trail Blazers 119-109 Washington Wizards
  • Golden State Warriors 92-104 San Antonio Spurs

Two of King James’ highlights were huge dunks, but there’s also the late three-pointer than pushed him over the 50-point mark.

There were other players on court though and Andrew Wiggins’ dizzying spin and dunk was a bright moment in a losing cause for Minnesota, while Derrick Jones Jr’s put-back dunk over the head of Brandon Ingram also caught the eye.

There were some sweet assists on Sunday too, but none sweeter than Jusuf Nurkic’s bounce-pass through the legs of a defender to set CJ McCollum on his way to the net.
