Poveda, whose style is similar to that of David Silva and Bernardo Silva, began his career at Arsenal before moving to Catalonia.
He spent two years at Barcelona's famous La Masia academy and arrived at City in 2016 after a short stint at Brentford.
Poveda is a technically gifted winger whose skills have made him illusive for opposition defenders.
He qualifies to represent Colombia as his family come from South America, but Poveda has been a large part of England youth teams in recent years, currently with the U18s.
